Cleanse using a high-quality, moisture-focused shampoo and lukewarm water. Smooth the cleanser gently through the hair in a downward motion without rubbing, twisting, or bunching the strands.

Follow with a hydrating conditioner, concentrating primarily on the mid-lengths and ends. Deep condition periodically to help preserve softness, elasticity, moisture, and manageability.

Follow with a hydrating conditioner and allow the hair to absorb moisture before rinsing thoroughly.
For curly and highly textured patterns, detangle while the hair is damp and conditioned using your fingers or a wide-tooth comb. Begin at the ends and work gradually toward the weft to protect the curl pattern and minimize unnecessary tension.
