The Sienna Curl Care Standard
Curly hair requires intentional moisture and gentle handling to preserve its shape, softness, and definition.
Detangle The Sienna Curl while damp and conditioned using your fingers or a wide-tooth comb. Begin at the ends and work gradually toward the weft. Avoid aggressive brushing, particularly when the hair is dry, as this can disturb the curl pattern and create unnecessary frizz or shedding.
Cleanse with a moisture-focused shampoo using lukewarm water, followed by a hydrating conditioner. Deep conditioning is recommended regularly to help maintain softness and elasticity, especially after heat styling or chemical processing.
Between wash days, lightly refresh the curls with water or a curl-friendly hydrating mist. A lightweight leave-in conditioner may be applied as needed, followed by a small amount of lightweight oil to help seal in moisture and enhance natural luster.
For definition, use curl creams, mousses, or lightweight gels sparingly. Excessive product can create buildup and weigh down the curl pattern.
Whenever possible, allow the hair to air-dry. If heat is used, always apply a professional heat protectant and use the lowest effective temperature.

Bleaching, coloring, excessive heat, and other chemical processing may alter the curl pattern, moisture balance, and longevity of the hair. Additional conditioning and maintenance may be required after customization.
