The Monroe Curl Care Standard
The Monroe Curl thrives with consistent moisture, gentle handling, and minimal unnecessary manipulation.
Detangle the hair while damp and conditioned using your fingers or a wide-tooth comb. Begin at the ends and work gradually upward toward the weft to help preserve the curl pattern and reduce unnecessary tension on the strands.
Cleanse using a moisture-focused shampoo and lukewarm water. Work product gently through the hair in a downward motion without aggressively rubbing, twisting, or bunching the bundles together. Follow with a hydrating conditioner to restore softness, elasticity, and manageability.
For continued hydration, lightly mist the hair with water or a curl-friendly refresher between wash days. Apply a lightweight leave-in conditioner as needed, followed by a small amount of lightweight oil to help seal in moisture and enhance natural luster.
