For the most refined result, professional installation is recommended. Lace appearance can vary depending on complexion, installation technique, adhesive or product selection, customization, and lighting. Your stylist may recommend additional customization to achieve your preferred finish.

Because HD lace is intentionally delicate, it should always be handled gently. Excessive pulling, scratching, brushing, adhesive buildup, or aggressive removal may compromise the lace or contribute to premature shedding.

The Lumière Silk Care Standard

Maintain the hair using a gentle, moisture-focused routine. Detangle carefully from the ends upward while supporting the closure to avoid placing unnecessary tension on the lace or knots.

Cleanse using lukewarm water and a gentle, moisturizing shampoo. Avoid vigorous rubbing, twisting, or scrubbing, particularly around the lace. Follow with a hydrating conditioner, concentrating primarily on the hair rather than heavily saturating the lace or knots with product.

Allow the closure to air-dry whenever possible. If thermal styling is desired, apply heat protectant and use the lowest effective temperature. Repeated high heat may contribute to dryness and affect the appearance and longevity of blonde hair.

To preserve the softness, movement, definition, and longevity of your bundles, treat your Crowned Collection hair with the same level of care you would give your natural hair.
For cleansing, use a sulfate-conscious or moisture-focused shampoo and lukewarm water. Cleanse gently in a downward motion rather than aggressively rubbing or bunching the hair, which can encourage tangling. Follow with a hydrating conditioner and allow the hair to absorb moisture before rinsing thoroughly.
For curly and highly textured patterns, detangle while the hair is damp and conditioned using your fingers or a wide-tooth comb. Begin at the ends and work gradually toward the weft to protect the curl pattern and minimize unnecessary tension.
Moisture is essential to maintaining softness and definition. Use a lightweight leave-in conditioner or hydrating mist as needed, followed by a small amount of lightweight oil to help seal in moisture and enhance luster. Avoid excessive product application, as heavy creams, oils, and styling products may create buildup and reduce the natural movement of the hair.
