The Capri Curl Care Standard
The Capri Curl performs best with consistent moisture, gentle handling, and intentional product selection. To preserve its softness and curl definition, detangle the hair while damp and conditioned using your fingers or a wide-tooth comb. Begin at the ends and work gradually upward toward the weft to minimize unnecessary tension.
Cleanse with a moisture-focused shampoo and lukewarm water, working gently in a downward motion rather than rubbing or bunching the hair. Follow with a hydrating conditioner to help maintain softness, elasticity, and manageability.
Between wash days, refresh the curls with a light mist of water or a curl-friendly hydrating spray. Apply a lightweight leave-in conditioner as needed, followed by a small amount of lightweight oil to help seal in moisture and enhance natural luster.
Deep conditioning is recommended regularly, especially after extended wear, heat styling, or chemical processing.
Preserving the Curl Pattern
For added definition, curl cream, mousse, or lightweight styling gel may be applied sparingly. Avoid excessive layering of heavy oils, butters, and creams, as product buildup can weigh down the curls and compromise their natural movement.
Whenever possible, allow The Capri Curl to air-dry. If heat is used, apply a professional heat protectant and use the lowest effective temperature.

The Capri Curl may be professionally lightened up to approximately Color #27. Professional coloring is strongly recommended to help preserve the integrity of the hair and curl pattern.
Bleaching, coloring, excessive heat, or other chemical processing may alter the original curl pattern, moisture balance, softness, and longevity of the hair. Chemically customized hair may require additional conditioning and more intensive maintenance.
